So you love food right, well I got some recipes for you that I think you might like to try out. I dunno, but I'll put them here below for easy access to find and chow those words right down.
Almond Pie
Ingredients 1/2 c. Butter(unsalted)(warmed)
2 bricks of almond bark
1 Cup light karo syrup
1/2 Cup Dark karo syrup
3 eggs
1/3rd c. molasses
1/4 c. Flour
1 14 oz bag of coconut
2 cups of slivered or sliced almonds
1 pre-made pie crust or prepared refrigerated pie crust.
Turn stove burner on medium heat. Slowly cook the butter leaving some to help cook the almond bark. Slowly add all the almond bark in the pan till a smooth consistency. Add in all the wet ingredients except the eggs. The molasses will be making the almond bark rough till you add the eggs in. Add in an egg one at a time stirring constantly to not burn the filling. After adding all the eggs in, add in flour to smooth it out. Keep cooking it on medium til almost boiling hot stirring gradually or when needed. Poor in a pie crust to bake or freeze and eat later. Pie filling was cooked on the stove...:) Enjoy.
Pecan Pie
3/4 c. karo light
1/2 c. Karo dark
1/2 c. Sugar
1/4 c. Honey
1/4 c. Brown Sugar
1/4 c. Cornstarch
3 eggs
1 egg white
Optional Ingredient extract (you choose flavor and x amount)
1 tbsp butter melted
6 oz. Pecan halves sugar/cinnamon roasted via you have to sprinkle them on pecans and roast them yourself. -;)
Melt and combine all ingredients except for eggs and pecans. Mix well. Then add eggs. Mix Well. Add in Pecans. Mix Well. Pour in pie pan and cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35~45 minutes. Shortbread Crust: Cook for 30, cool, cook for 30 again. Crust will be dark dark brown. Stovetop Directions Melt butter in pan on medium heat, mix all ingredients in and stir constantly for half-hour to 45 minutes. Pour in pie pan and chill
